Our national training program is ANSI National Accreditation Board-Accredited. This means our training has met rigorous standards and is broadly accepted through the US.

It is valid for 3 years. At the end of that period, you will need to retake the course and pass the exam. eFoodhandlers makes that process simple and straightforward.

You can take the exam up to 2 times. There is not an extra charge for retaking the course/exam a second time.

The State of Virginia does not have specific requirements for food safety training, although they do require the person in charge to be able to demonstrate food safety competence. Some jurisdictions have adopted their own rules and may not accept an eFoodHandlers Certificate. Check with your local Environmental Health department to make sure you are receiving the correct training.
